An Open Letter...to You

Happy Joyful Day,

I want to say thank you for taking time out of your busy days to read my blog and support me in this journey. I honestly found so much joy the past few days from your comments and those that reached out to me after reading my post about my struggles with anxiety. I have enjoyed hearing your stories of your personal struggles with anxiety and depression as well. We aren't alone in this journey although at times it feels that we are the only ones living in this reality. I want to pen this letter to anyone who reads this or any of my other posts,

You are not alone, and I am here for you.

If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, or anything other mental health disorder don't keep it to yourself. Reach out to those that you trust, and talk, or cry, or just sit in silence. Just reach out. Know that reaching out or having a mental health disorder doesn't make you weak. This journey doesn't define you as a person.

You can do hard things, you have done hard things, and you will continue to do hard things. Life isn't sunshine and rainbows all the time, but you can create your own rainbows after your storm. Find the things that bring you joy in your life and make those a priority. Don't be afraid to put yourself first. I love all of you whether you have been in my life for years, a few moments, or have come in and out of my life i appreciate your purpose you have served me

Note: I am not a mental health expert, nor am I a trained counsel. I am not here to provide services to you, but I am here as an equal.
